Damage Waiver

Optional protection against accidental damage to rented equipment. Add it at checkout for roughly 14% of the rental rate.

What it covers

The damage waiver reduces your financial responsibility for accidental damage to rented equipment that occurs during normal use of the machine within the terms of the rental agreement.

Covered

  • • Accidental damage during normal operation
  • • Damage from minor collisions on the job site
  • • Hydraulic and mechanical wear beyond normal use
  • • Damage from rollover or tipping in routine work

Not covered

  • • Theft, vandalism, or loss of the equipment
  • • Damage from negligence, abuse, or misuse
  • • Operation by an unauthorized or unlicensed user
  • • Tire, track, glass, and undercarriage damage
  • • Damage from operating outside manufacturer specs

How it works

  1. Add the damage waiver during checkout on the Reserve page.
  2. The waiver fee is calculated at ~14% of the daily rental rate.
  3. If accidental damage occurs, report it within 24 hours and complete an incident form at return.
  4. Covered damage is waived; your deductible and any exclusions still apply.
